Privacy notice

Last updated 27 September 2026

This notice explains how LTS Engineering handles personal data when you visit lts-dev.org or contact us by email. The site does not include a contact form, user account, analytics tool or advertising tracker.

Who is responsible for your data?

LTS Engineering is the data controller for the processing described in this notice. The company is a SASU governed by French law, represented by Yohan PHILIPPE, President, with its registered office at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact: contact@lts-dev.org.

What information is handled?

  • If you email LTS: your email address, name, message content and any information or attachments you choose to include. Proton may also process delivery data such as sender and recipient addresses, subject lines, attachment names, timestamps and the source IP address of incoming messages to provide its email service.
  • When the site is delivered: technical connection information such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and device details. LTS Engineering hosts the website and may process this information in server logs to deliver and secure the site.
  • Language preference: the selected language is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember your choice. This preference stays on your device and is not sent to LTS.

Why and on what basis?

  • To receive and respond to messages you send to LTS. The basis is LTS’s legitimate interest in managing correspondence; when you ask us to take steps before a possible contract, the basis is those pre-contractual steps.
  • To deliver, maintain and protect the website. LTS’s legitimate interest is to operate the site securely; LTS may process technical logs for this purpose as the website host.
  • The language preference is stored only on your device for your convenience. LTS does not receive it.

Who receives the information?

LTS personnel who need the information to respond may access messages sent to us. LTS Engineering hosts this website and its font files, and may process technical information to provide and secure it. No external font service receives requests from your browser. Proton AG, based in Switzerland, provides LTS’s email service and may process message data and delivery metadata. Proton states that Proton Mail servers are located in Switzerland, Germany or Norway. The European Commission recognizes Switzerland as providing an adequate level of data protection.

Proton Mail privacy policy ↗

How long is it kept?

  • Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the request. If a message relates to a possible business engagement, relevant contact details may be retained for up to three years after the last contact. Contract and accounting records are kept for the periods required by law. Proton states that encrypted backups may be kept for up to 30 days.
  • Technical server logs are kept for up to six months for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. They may be retained longer where an applicable legal obligation or a documented security incident requires it.
  • The language preference remains in your browser’s local storage until you clear it or overwrite it by selecting another language.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask for processing to be restricted, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request portability where it applies. Contact LTS at contact@lts-dev.org. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within one month, subject to any lawful extension.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL. Contact the CNIL ↗

Is providing data required?

You choose whether to email LTS and what information to include. Without an email address and message, LTS cannot reply to your enquiry. The site does not make decisions about you using automated processing.

Updates to this notice

This notice may be updated if the site’s features, hosting or data practices change. The revision date above shows when it was last updated.
